Large quantities of unlicensed medicines have actually been seized by Department of Health authorities during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A man was interviewed by department officers about unlawfully importing and subsequently supplying unlicensed impotence medications via the internet.
The 47-year-old was likewise questioned about other medicine offences.
He will now be the subject of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: «It is important that we get the message across that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
«These kinds of items being sold, typically online, have no quality assurance and there can be no guarantee about their safety.
