Large amounts of unlicensed medicines have actually been seized by Department of during a search of a house in Glengormley.
A guy was spoken with by department officers about illegally importing and consequently providing unlicensed impotence medications through the internet.
The 47-year-old was also questioned about other medication offences.
He will now be the topic of a report to the Public Prosecution Service.
The search was brought out by the department’s Medicines Regulatory Group.
Its senior enforcement workplace, Peter Moore, said: «It is essential that we get the message throughout that unlicensed medicines can be harmful.
«These kinds of items being offered, typically online, have undergone no quality control and there can be no assurance about their safety.
«You merely do not understand what you are taking or the conditions these items were made in. More importantly, you do not understand the effect drugs like this may have on your health.»
